My First Thanksgiving!

Today was my first Thanksgiving! It was just me, Mommy & Daddy at home and we had a lot of fun! Mommy & Daddy made a bunch of food and it was yummy. As you can see in the picture, the turkey kinda made me tired! The bib I am wearing says "Mommy's Little Turkey".

A Big Weekend!

Wow this weekend was a busy weekend in my life! Grandma Gail is still here, Mommy's cousins Debbie & Daylon came from Pennslyvania and Grandma Joggerst and my aunts and uncles came from Daisy, MO. Also Roger, Roberta, Rebecca, Trent and Cecelia all came so "Grandpa" Roger could do my dedication! It was an important day for me. We also had lots of food! It was very crowded in our home but we had a great time!

Coming Home!!!

Yesterday (Friday) I finally got to come home from the hospital!!! My blood sugar has leveled out, and everything looks good. Mommy & Daddy are so excited to have me home! Now I keep them super busy feeding me, changing me, playing with me and loving me!

Staying in the Hospital

I was supposed to go home yesterday, but the doctor decided to keep me here in the hospital because my blood sugar has been kinda low. They put me on an IV with a little glucose, and they've been checking my blood sugar every hour or two. They have to prick my foot and I don't like it! :( But I'm tough so it's ok. :) They've also been feeding me some supplemental formula to go along with Mommy's milk. Mommy & Daddy are staying at the hospital with me, so they get to come in the nursery whenever they want and they get to feed me the formula. My favorite part of the day is when they come to see me!! :) My blood sugar has been stabilizing, so the doctor is going to start slowly taking me off the glucose. I'm not sure yet when I get to go home - maybe as soon as tomorrow (Friday). Mommy & Daddy can't wait to take me home!! They will post a lot more pictures of me when they get caught up on sleep!

I'm finally out in the real world! Monday, November 17, 2008 at 4:57pm I was born weighing 6lbs 3oz and measuring 19.5 inches. I'm doing great and so is Mommy. Daddy's ok too! :) They are so excited to have me!!!!! Here's a few pictures...there will be many more in the days to come!

My Scheduled Arrival Date!

Today the doctor said Mommy is getting close to 3cm and that she will probably be at 3cm on Monday. We go to get checked again Monday, and if Mommy is at 3cm I'll be induced on Tuesday, November 18!! That would be a good date because 3 years ago on November 18 Daddy proposed to Mommy and she said yes!

Still waiting...

Another doctor visit yesterday and mommy is still dilated to 2cm. As soon as mommy is at 3cm they can induce. Grandma Gail is here now too so everyone is impatiently waiting for me!

Update!

Today was my latest doctor visit. Mommy is still dilated to 2cm. Mommy & Daddy were hoping to induce my birth soon, but Mommy has to be dilated to 3cm before the doctors will induce! The next doctor appointment is next Tuesday - November 11th. If Mommy is at 3cm then, they will probably induce the next day. Otherwise, everybody is just waiting on me! Mommy & Daddy are impatient and can't wait for me to get here!!!
