My 6 month Dr's Appointment

Grandma Gail was with us for my ultrasound and she took this picture!

During the ultrasound, Dr. Moruzzi confirmed that I have a two vessell umbilical cord (instead of the normal three) So I am gonna need your prayers as I continue to grow in Mommy's tummy. I am a little small for my age right now, weighing in at 1lb 3 oz, where as I should be around 1.5 lbs. But I keep reminding Mommy that God made me this way and he will work everything out according to His plan!

My First Party!!

A baby shower is being thrown for me on July 27 at 2:00pm at Borst Park (Kitchen #2) in Centralia, Washington. Mommy & Daddy have registered things that I like at Target, Kohls and Walmart! :)

Mommy and Me at 23 weeks!

Mommy is taking me to the Doctor on Thursday, for my 6 month check up! Daddy wants her to take a picture of us every Sunday, so we can watch my progress! We got to talk to Daddy on the phone today and he is doing alot better! His cold is almost gone. He starts his academics this week and will be super busy.. so hopefully it will make his time go by faster! (Grandma Gail's cat got in the tail- end of the picture!!)

Mommy and I flew all the way to Newport, Rhode Island this weekend to see Daddy! He couldn't believe how much I've grown in Mommy's belly! Please keep my Daddy in your prayers... he really needs and appreciates them. He caught a cold and so everything is even harder to deal with. But he is doing good and has passed all his tests so far this week. Yay Daddy!!! We are so proud of you!

Mommy's starting to show!

I'm really starting to stick out of Mommy's belly now! This picture was taken the same day Daddy had his picture taken at OCS! I am 21 weeks and 2 days here. Daddy told Mommy that he wants her to take pictures of her belly every week, so he can see how big I am growing!

Daddy's First Picture at OCS!

Here is my Daddy at OCS with some of his new friends! The guy standing to the left of him in the picture, is Aaron Gabbard. Daddy and him went to college together. Daddy got to go to church today and some of the other candidate's wives take pictures for us families who are far away. It is so great to see him! We miss him so much! Mommy really likes his new haircut! She says he is handsome no matter what his hair is like! Keep praying for my Daddy! We are so proud of him!

Daddy leaving for Navy

Yesterday Mommy & Daddy found out that Daddy will be leaving for Navy Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, Rhode Island this Saturday! Officer Candidate School is at least 12 weeks long so Daddy will be there until at least late September. Mommy and I will be going to Washington State to stay with Grandma Gail for most of this time. Another ultrasound!

Today I had another ultrasound and doctor visit. In the ultrasound, Mommy & Daddy were able to see the 4 chambers of my heart, my kidneys, the parts of my brain, and even the lenses of my eyes! Everything looks healty and I'm as active as ever. The one nurse said that I was the movingest baby they'd ever seen! Based on the ultrasound, the Doctor updated my due date to November 16th.

I'm a boy!

Today Mommy & Daddy had another ultrasound and they found out that I'm a boy!!!

Here I am in my first movie! This is a video of the ultrasound and in it you can see me sucking my thumb, stretching, turning over, and kicking. You also get a view of the heartbeat monitor and there is even music in the background! :)

Look at me now!

Finally Mommy & Daddy took me took me to have more pictures taken! In my latest ultrasound, I am 7.14 cm (almost 3 inches) long. My heartbeat was 147 beats per minute! I am almost 13 weeks old today. I'm growing fast, but the nurse still can't tell if I'm a boy or girl yet. Mommy & Daddy were excited because they could see me moving around!!

This is a picture of the bottoms of my feet! They are 1.28 cm (1/2 inch) long! Daddy says he thinks I'm a boy because of my big feet! :)

Here you can see my head. I'm posing for the camera! The white stuff is the bone of my skull. I'm not very photogenic yet! :)
